Scholarships and Awards

There are several language scholarships available to Richmond students who demonstrate either merit or need. In particular, scholarships are provided to students who might otherwise not be able to participate in a study abroad program during the summer, the semester or the academic year. Some scholarships are co-sponsored with the Department of Latin American, Latino, & Iberian Studies.  The deadline for submitting an application for study during the 2021-2022 academic year is Friday, March 12, 2021, at midnight. Once a student submits the application, a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of the application will be sent by June Wise in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. Students will be notified of departmental decisions in April.
